The 'Cala 10K AGCC Cup’ Challenge is back for 2026! This competition is exclusive to teams four from AGCC member organisations taking part in our new Cala 10k. Teams can be mixed or single-sex and the times of all four runners will count in the calculation of the winner. The fastest team takes home the ‘Chamber Cup’ and a donation to the charity of their choice!

This year Run Garioch will be working with a record seven local charities, all looking for runners to take on our springtime challenge and help raise funds for their good work: Aberdeen Football Club Community Trust (AFCCT), AberNecessities, All Life Chances, Cash for Kids, CHAS, Community Integrated Care and Inverurie Community Partnership.

We're delighted to announce that the Inverurie-based IYSF will cover the cost of both an environmentally friendly event t-shirt and race entry to the CP&Co. Junior Run (for children aged four to 12) and the Mackie’s 5k (ages 12+) for any children who would not otherwise be able to take part on race day.
